A mini-musical, based on a Twitter thread in which a person comes in last place in their fantasy football league and is punished by having to spend 24 hours at a Waffle House diner. Every waffle eaten shaves an hour off of the sentence.

DEVELOPMENT HISTORY

Waffle House had its first workshop production at Andy’s Summer Playhouse in Wilton, New Hampshire from August 10 - 19, 2023. The Workshop Premiere production was directed by Jared Mezzocchi and music directed by Jason Weisinger. The cast featured Elsa Guerra, Riley Dunham, Lukas Baker, Zed Hansen, Oliver Keller, Asher Barney, Corey Leishman, JD Dowd, Anneliese Strong, Violet Deaver, Mary Keller, Olivia Galvin, Aiden McCloat, Naudia Billodeau, Josie Dumont, Olivia Kuzmin, Alder Glazier, Dash Brooks, & Calvin Aldrich. The creative team featured Peter Leibold VI (Lighting Designer), Tori Niemiec (Costume Designer), Andres Poch (Scenic Designer), Leo Grierson (Sound Designer), Tim Kelly (Video Designer), and Lauren Graham (Stage Manager).
