Raccoon Play will be developed through a Workshop with the University of Central Florida through the 2026 Pegasus PlayLab, starting in May 2026. The Workshop Production will run from June 11 - 14. Tickets can be purchased here.

Battle of the Books will have its Professional Premiere at Columbus Children’s Theatre in Columbus, OH, as a part of its 2026-27 Season. The production plays from September 25 - October 18, 2026. More information will be released soon! Additionally, Battle of the Books was awarded with Excellence in Playwriting by the New Hampshire Theatre Alliance for the 2026 Production at Andy’s Summer Playhouse.

DIRECTING
SMJ is the Executive Director of Andy’s Summer Playhouse in Wilton, NH.
SMJ will be adapting and directing Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase for Andy’s Summer Playhouse. This will be the first mime production of a Nancy Drew book. The production runs July 10-18.
SMJ has been named the Director of the Ohio Educational Theatre Association’s 2027 All-Ohio Production, Grief Camp by Eliya Smith! This will be the first production of the play with high school students. The production will be performed in Spring 2027 as the start of the 2027 Ohio Thespian Festival.
